Wow! This album is hot fire! Alot of people don’t know about it…It dropped exclusively on Itunes on April 29th of 09. I didn’t hear about it until sometime in May. I’ve been waiting for new De la Soul and in my internet search I found it…Posdnous is in my top 10…I will post my top 10 list with honorable mentions here on SuperFan2099 next! ( another hot fire album that dropped exclusvely on itunes that I’m sure aheckavalotta people don’t know about is Snoop’s Landy and Eggnog Christmas Rap album…don’t sleep…will be reviewing this album with more details soon….) So apparently I use too many exclamation points when I write, shout out to Melstarr! say that to say, De La!!! Welcome to the Headbanger Hotel!! The title of the album is R.U.N. (Are You In? It’s a collab with Nike, a one track (47 mins-ish) workout album…It’s being considered very strongly for album of the year 09! The way all the songs blend into one another is an accomplishment of itself, but while you’re listening to each individual song you’re also captivated by it’s standalonability! I have several favorites on here, I do cardio and resistance training to the album.It plays well while cooking, cleaning, and driving! It also gets spins in my bathroom and early in the morning and distinctively when I wake up…which is not always early : ) Much more to say but if you are a fan of the group it’s totally them at there 20 year in the game quality pumping, top10 mc repping, best! You need this…I hope you have the album before this one, Impossible Mission, if you don’t have either of these albums and you are a fan you are making me upset : / and i have to go! Otherwise De La is one of the few (can’t think of any others right now) that never fell off or came wack! : D

Ok! Everybody give it up for Redman and Method Man! The Blackout 2 album is solid! My pic for the best of ’09 so far! : D I’ve put together some reasons to back up this statement, here they go! … 1.Strong Rhymes from everyone, Red is spitting like he knows he almost dropped out of my top 10 and he’s decided to keep the spot. Meth!, Wow I really admire his work ethic…he’s probably one of the strongest emcees out he’s so consistent with quality! Can’t sayI ‘ve ever heard a wack Meth verse and I have all his albums…there’s too much to say about the work Meth puts in and how he holds the fans and his fam down! He is a blogpost on his own! I didn’t realize I was such a supporter of his until now! I support lots of artists though, that’s what this blog is about! Also all guest appearances show skill with fly rhymes on this album, no wackness.

2. ok lets go quicker….Dope Beats! I like 9 out of 10 beats on this album, these cats are flowing on these beats…you can workout to a good portion of this album…i’m looking forward to that actually

4.Great gift for a beginner to know what the standard is for real hiphop albums…this album is like a manual, or encyclopedia, on how to make a good album…I’ll take this opportunity to mention my pic of album of the year 2008. The Roots, Rising Down. Say that to say this, Both these albums are great gifts for the new or experienced hiphop listener

I was writing rhymes but felt uninspired by my collection of instrumentals. So I figured I should get on my blog job. This is not supposed to be a diary but I’m still getting used to the whole thing so I’m forcing myself to write. Ahhhh….Just like with rhymes, I need an idea first…a topic! I don’t feel like talking about instrumentals ’cause my typing’s too slow but I will be back with good hiphop topics and greater typing skills ASAP! : )
